Nuestra Comunidad, Nuestra Sanación
Our Philosophy of Healing
Our mission is to accompany people who have experienced unimaginable pain and trauma as they move toward healing. Therapy outcomes include better family life, improved workplace performance, and community engagement. Healing of trauma leads to a better life for all of us.
Our Services
At Raíces Sagradas we walk alongside our community to create meaningful impact and transform lives and stories. Our work seeks to reduce stigma around mental health while fostering connection, healing, and collective growth. Our programs build community, offer support groups and safe spaces where people can heal and feel supported, and connect individuals and families to resources and services that strengthen overall well-being.
-
Direct professional counseling provided by clinicians who bring years of experience.
-
The organization conducts the specialized mental health assessments required for various immigration legal processes (such as U-Visas, T-Visas, or VAWA cases), which are often a critical component of legal success.
-
Training for community members on the "basics" of trauma, depression, and anxiety.
-
Creating environments—like the "Tuesday Group" (Grupo de los Martes)—where people feel "seen, supported, and accompanied."
-
Connecting individuals and families to vital external resources and services that support long-term physical and emotional well-being.
